After Ali Khamenei’s meeting with the Basij athletes, the leader of the Islamic Republic met with the members of the Assembly of Experts. But news was published on social media about the unfavorable physical condition of Ali Khamenei and the possibility of canceling this meeting.
Tasnim news agency affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps claimed on 18 September that "basically, no meeting was supposed to be held that has been canceled now." But "Hashem Hashemzadeh Harisi", the representative of East Azerbaijan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, confirmed the news of the cancellation of this meeting on 20 September and claimed that the members of this assembly were supposed to meet with Khamenei in the last days of September, but because of what he said, "the convenience of the leader ", this meeting has been cancelled.
On 23 Shahrivar, "Iran International" investigated the rumors about his physical condition and health in a report. In this report, it was mentioned that the images related to Ali Khamenei’s speech to the athletes were not broadcasted on the government radio and media under his command. This media considered this issue as a reason for raising speculations about his health.
After almost a month has passed, the video of Ali Khamenei’s speech to the athletes has not been aired and the Iranian media have been content with the written report of his speech.
Speculations about why Ali Khamenei’s speech was not broadcast go back to the reactions that were published after his speech in front of the government delegation on September 8, 1401.
The speech of the leader of the Islamic Republic was dumb, unintelligible and cut off. The news sections of the Islamic Republic of Iran Radio published short parts of Ali Khamenei’s speeches, and those parts showed that he does not have full control over his speech.
