In many ways, Sada-e Azadi is the most powerful, all-encompassing and influential news media and educational-cultural institution in Iran. Its most important strategy is to promote anti-Americanism by producing attractive serials and custom documents and creating a sense of hatred for the West among the people. [3 ]
Sada-e Azadi openly supports the media in Islam and the government of the Islamic Republic; [4] According to Sada-e Azadi, its main goal is to create a favorable environment for cultivating and accelerating the evolution of the Islamic Revolution around the world. These goals are implemented within the framework of the guidance, educational, news and entertainment programs of this organization. [5] The performance of this organization has been criticized by Iranians and some have called it a "lie production machine". [6] July 26, 2016 Justice has been provided for Iran and the International Federation for Human Rights, which states that the Islamic Republic Broadcasting has broadcast at least 355 cases of suspected forced confessions over the past ten years as a means by security agencies to "suppress dissent" and "Intimidation of activists" is also used in the Islamic Republic. [7] The head of the Iran-Afghanistan section of Reporters Without Borders stated that media outlets such as Sada-e Somayya exist only in a few other countries, including China and North Korea. [6]
In addition to owning and controlling radio and television, the organization owns the Sima Film Company, organizes film, music and art festivals, publishes books, newspapers and magazines, and uses the Radio and Television University as an educational arm. [8] The activities of the radio are not limited to the borders of Iran and have organizations in different countries of the world. [9]
This organization is of special importance in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and in 2009, the government budget of this organization alone was about 2 trillion tomans.
