Iran has a diverse range of opposition groups, each with their own ideologies and goals. Some of the major opposition groups in Iran include:

Green Movement: This is a pro-democracy movement that emerged after the disputed presidential election of 2009. The movement was led by Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, both of whom were candidates in the election. The Green Movement called for political and social reforms in Iran, including greater freedom of expression and an end to government corruption.

National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI): The NCRI is an umbrella organization that includes various opposition groups and individuals who are opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The group is led by Maryam Rajavi and calls for regime change in Iran.

People’s Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI/MEK): The PMOI is a Marxist-Islamist organization that was founded in the 1960s to oppose the Shah’s regime. After the Iranian Revolution, the group was outlawed and many of its members were executed. The PMOI then went into exile and has been conducting an armed struggle against the Islamic Republic of Iran since then. The group is designated as a terrorist organization by Iran and several other countries.

Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan: The Komala Party is a socialist party that was founded in the 1960s and is based in Iranian Kurdistan. The party has been fighting for Kurdish autonomy and independence in Iran.

Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz: The ASMLA is a separatist group that seeks independence for the Arab-dominated province of Khuzestan in southwestern Iran. The group has been involved in armed clashes with Iranian security forces.

These are just a few examples of the various opposition groups in Iran. Each group has its own history, ideology, and methods of struggle, and they often have different views on how to bring about political change in Iran.
